ABOUT
Lex Kelly's love for writing started shortly after receiving her first Lisa Frank Diary when she was a little girl. She filled hundreds of those glittery pink and blue pages with poetry and stories before graduating to her parent's giant word processor. (Those two sentences alone should give you a solid indicator of how old she is.)
At thirteen—hopped up on hormones and teenage angst— she was busted for writing her first "steamy" fanfic… which she promptly denied authoring. The truth of this secret was only recently revealed to her parents, who —nearly twenty-five years later— were more shocked she managed to keep a secret that long than anything else.
Nowadays, Lex’s stories reflect her love for relatable main characters, banter, and a well-placed F-bomb. Her childhood fantasies of being able to speak to her pets and control the weather are brought to life through the whimsical use of magick woven throughout her books.
Lex lives in Southern California with her husband, two kids, two dogs, one black cat, and one insolent chicken. When not writing, she enjoys spending time in nature, spontaneous adventures with her family, and, of course, reading.
